Ikebana for Vegetarian Times

I was asked to illustrate an article for the Vegetarian Times. The article in question is about Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. I actually knew what it was through no better reason than having watched Lost in translation 200000 times when I first moved to NY. Weird i know, but it seemed to be the only thing that could take the edge off of having the BQE highway literally pass through my Brooklyn living room.
Anyhow, this was an amazing opportunity and Scott Hyers my AD was super nice and a pleasure to work with.
